Priest Dragged Out Of Church By Riot Police

(TRUNEWS) – In the ‘new normal’ of today’s world, Muslim jihadists in France can walk into a church and slit the throats of priests, while believers who gather to protest the demolition of a holy sanctuary are dragged out of a local church by riot police.

The dramatic video of the priest, altar boys, and other congregants being forcibly removed from a local church in Sainte Rita is chilling.

The priest was protesting the demolition of the church to be transformed into a car park.

This invasion of a church by riot police comes just days after the ruthless murder of another priest in France. Father Jacques Hamel was leading morning mass in the nearby industrial town of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray when the attackers stormed in, forced the 85-year-old to his knees and slit his throat while chanting in Arabic.

The archbishop of Rouen, leading Tuesday’s solemn funeral Mass for the elderly priest slain by two extremists, said the Rev. Jacques Hamel tried to push away his attackers with his feet, saying “Go away, Satan,” remarks that underscored the horror of the murder at the altar that touched a chord throughout France.

Mourners crammed into Rouen Cathedral on Tuesday for the funeral of the Roman Catholic priest knifed to death at his church altar, as France’s political leaders sought ways to defeat home-grown Islamist violence.

Social media in France lit up with the dramatic video and images of the abuses being shared.

Comments from users on social media:

“Jihadists have slit the throat of a priest. Anne Hidalgo [the mayor of Paris] helps them by destroying churches.”

“The day after the funeral of a murdered priest, it destroyed a church in #SainteRita to make parking… Seriously?”

National Front party leader Marine Le Pen also waded into the row, tweeting:

“And what if they built parking lots in the place of Salafist mosques, and not of our churches?”

According to, The church has been closed since 2015, but has been operating through a new Catholic parish association.
