July 17 (Xinhua) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted 236 km E of Port Blair, India at 14:03:42 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 11.984 degrees north latitude and 94.8885 degrees east longitude.
