Surveillance State: NC Mayor Deploys Drones To Enforce Social Distancing Orders

“We have to be creative, we have to figure out a way to get to people that police cars can’t get to…”

That’s what the Elizabeth City, North Carolina mayor says is the way forward in social distancing enforcement over private property.

The police put on a demonstration to show just how easy it now is for them to spy on neighborhoods and areas without access for police patrol cars. This includes tight spaces between buildings, behind schools, and our backyards. Failure to comply can lead to a summons or a $1,000 fine.

This is yet another grave sign that our rights to liberty and privacy are burning into ash.

If we aren’t careful, the future of a “free America” certainly plays out in grim fashion.
