The radical LGBT group, Human Rights Campaign, is hate-filled bully. Nothing but their selfish agenda matters, as all must think like them and accept them while any other belief is bigotry in their eyes.
After a coast to coast win for LGBT rights in the Supreme Court case of Obergefell v. Hodges decision that mandated homosexual marriage for all 50 States, this hardcore activist group now wants to target Christian Universities and Colleges.
In 1972, Title IX amendments prohibited sexual discrimination in hiring, housing, and employment at schools receiving federal funds, while allowing religious schools to opt out of these requirements.
Certainly this right is protected under the First Amendment, so as to not impede the free exercise of religion on Christian campuses, yet the LGBT agenda will stop at nothing to force all who hold a different viewpoint, based on their religious beliefs, to submit.
The Human Rights Campaign is liking a screaming toddler who can’t have its way. Nothing will stop the agenda of this well funded LGBT bully, until they force all with opposing views to submit to them.
The newest victim of their oppressive tactics are Christian Colleges and Universities. Though the Christian community has been a target for the Human Rights Campaign, this new attack is specific to schools who have the legal right to opt out of the Title IX amendments.
Though the 1972 law has nothing to do with homosexual identity, homosexual activity, or so-called transsexuality, the $50 million-a-year Human Rights Campaign is nonetheless asking the federal government to put pressure on any school that has asked for or received such an exemption.
According to a recent report issued by the group, which has a history of targeting Christians, 56 schools have been granted religious freedom exemptions from the law. They claim such exemptions are dangerous for homosexual or transsexual students.
The group is asking the federal government “to regularly report which educational institutions have been granted Title IX religious exemptions and the scope of the exemptions; add Title IX religious exemptions as a searchable College Navigator.” The homosexual group is asking Congress to require the Department of Education “to submit an annual report… [on] compliance and enforcement activities.”
Under the guise of wanting legal recognition of marriage, the radical LGBT group, will not stop at that. Much like greed, where one is never content or satisfied with what one has, the LGBT activists will push their beliefs on all Americans, utilizing the courts to circumvent the will of the majority. Nothing is sacred except their viewpoint and no one else matters but those who adhere to their philosophy.
