Power cut hits over 10,000 homes in Finland amid heavy snowfalls

More than 10,000 homes in southern, southwest and central Finland have been left with electricity due to heavy snowfalls that started Friday evening. Trees fell on power lines, causing the cuts. Repair work is under way, but it’s not clear when it will be completed. Snowfalls are set to continue, worsening road conditions across the country.
